In order to find the value of |sinx+cosx| if sin2x=0.44;
firstly we need to square |sinx+cosx| i.e. (|sinx+cosx|)^2 = sinx^2+cosx^2+2sinxcosx = 1 + 2sinxcosx = 1 + sin2x = 1 + 0.44 = 1.44
Now we are not concerned with (|sinx+cosx|)^2 but with |sinx+cosx| so, we've to find out the square root of 1.44 = 1.2 (Ans)
Therefore the value of |sinx+cosx| = 1.2 (since it is mod so we've to consider the positive value).
