what is the value of spring constant ( in terms of gram weight per centimeter ).
please write in terms of g wt per cm only ....

Spring constant is not a fixed value....
It differs in different materials....
Depends on different elements.......
F = kx.
is the Hooke's law...
So, k is spring constant = F/x.....
where x is elongation of spring.....
BTW, I'm in class Xth.... so point out any mistakes, if there....
