Answer:

(6x-2) + 20 = 90

6x -2 + 20 = 90

6x + 18 = 90

6x = 90 - 18

6x = 72

x = 72/6

x = 12 answer

Hope its is helpful to you

Given:

  • AOB is a straight line (i.e 180°)
  • ∠EOB = 90°
  • ∠DOA = 20°
  • ∠AOD = (6x-2)°

To finD:

  • Measures of 'x'

Solution:

Here we have given that AOB is equal 180° and ∠EOB = 90°.

Now,

If ∠EOB is 90° the ∠EOA is also 90° because ∠EOB + ∠EOA is 180°

Hence,

If ∠EOB is 90° then we can say that ∠EOD + ∠DOA = ∠EOA = 90°

Let solving this :-

∠EOD + ∠DOA = 90°

=> (6x-2)° + 20° = 90°

=> ( 6x -2)° = 90° - 20°

=> (6x-2)° = 70°

=> (6x)° = 70°+2°

=> (6x)° = 72°

=> x = \large{\tt{ \frac{72}{6}}}

=> x = 12°

\large{\tt{\underline{\pink{ ∴\: x = 12° }}}}
