Answer:

We have y = 15 so, put in given equation.....

1/5x - 2/3*15 = 30

1/5x - 2/45 = 30

1/5x= 30+2/45

1/5x = 1350+2

______

45

x = 9/1352

I hope it will help you

Answer:

1/5x-2/3(15)=30 or

1/5x-30/3=30 (because -2/3(15)=-30/3)

1/5x=30+30/3 (transposing -30 to right side which becomes +30)

1/5x= 90+30/3 (by taking LCM)

1/5x= 120/3 or 1/5x= 40

x= 40(5) (transposing 5 to right hand side and which is to be multiplied by 40)

x= 200 (Answer)

Hope this helps!
