Puting \: y = 4 \\ We \: get, \: \\ 8x - 2 \times 4 = 48 \\ 8 x - 8 = 48 \\ 8x = 48 + 8 \\ x = \frac{56}{8} \\ x = 7 \\ Ans

Hi there

Your answer is :-

8X - 2Y = 48

if Y is 4, then

8X - 2(4) = 48

8X - 8 = 48

8X = 8 + 48

8X = 56

X = 56 / 8

X = 7 ( Ans )
