Hey there !

Thanks for the question !

Solution:

To find: Value of 'x' in : x + ( x / 3 ) = 4600

Illustration:

Taking LCM we get,

=> ( 3x + x ) / 3 = 4600

=> 4x / 3 = 4600

Multiplying 3 from the denominator to 4600 in the right hand side we get,

=> 4x = 4600 × 3

=> 4x = 13800

=> x = 13800 / 4 = 3450

Hence the value for 'x' in the given equation is 3450.

Hope my answer helped !
