therefore we have 2x+x=180–90
2x and x are same constants and can be added together therefore we have 3x=90
now take the 3 to the other side and it divides 90, so we have x=90/3 which is x=30
hence x is 30, we can further verify this by placing the value of x in given equation
ie 2(30)+(30)+90 = 60+30+90 = 90+90 = 180
