Pressure= 1 atm

Temperature = 273 C

Contributions of mixture towards density:

PCl5 = 80 %

PCl3 = 20 %

Cl2 = 20 %

K= T(C) + 273 = 250+ 273 = 523 K

M of PCl5= 208 g per mol

M of PCl3 = 137 g per mol

M of Cl2 = 70.9 g per mol

Density = mass/ volume x T1/ T2 x amount

Density of phosphorous pentachloride at 250 C = (208 /22.4L) x 273/523 x 0.80 = 3.87 g/L

Density of Phosphorous trichloride at 250 C = (137 /22.4L) x 273K/523K x 0.20 = 0.63 g/l

Density of chlorine at 250 C = (70.9 /22.4 L)x 273K/523K x 0.20 = 0.33 g/L

Density of whole mixture including reactants and products = 3.87 + 0.63 + 0.33 = 4.83 g/L
