Variation of g due to shape of the earth. The shape of the earth is bulged at the equator and flat at the poles. This means earth has large radius at the equator than at poles.

if we going from equator to the pole the gravitational force of earth increases the earth gravitational force at the equator is 9. 76m/s,^2 the gravitational force of earth at Pole is 9.83 m/s^2
