Given:-

  • Initial Velocity = 0m/s ( As it was dropped )

  • Acceleration due to gravity = +10m/s²

  • Time given = 12s.

To Find:-

  • The Velocity of the object after 12s.

FORMULAE USED:-

  • v = u + at

Where,

  • v = Final Velocity
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • t = Time.

Now,

→ v = u + at

→ v = (0) + 10 × 12

→ v = 0 + 120

→ v = 120m/s.

Hence, The Velocity if the object will be 120m/s.

EXTRA INFORMATION:-

  • When an object fall through the earth under the influence of gravitation force is known as free fall

  • During free fall we take u = 0.

  • When object goes to maximum height v = 0.

Answer:

Given:-

An object is dropped from a height and it taken 12 seconds .

initial velocity =0 m/s

time taken=12 m/s

accelaration due to gravity=10 m/s

To find:

Velocity after 12 seconds of the object.

Formula used:

v=u+gt

where,

▪v=final velocity

▪u=initial velocity

▪t=time

▪g=acceleration due to gravity.

Solution:

=> v=u+gt

=> v=0+10×12

=> v=120 m/s

HENCE VELOCITY AFTER 12 SECONDS OF THE OBJECT IS 120 M/S.
