Verbs :-

The action or saying words are the verbs

of a sentence.

Verbs are of three kinds-

1. Transitive Verbs

2. Intransitive Verbs

3. Linking Verbs

Transitive Verbs- The verb that needs and objectives to complete the sense of sentence is called Transitive Verbs.

Example- Jack reads.

Intransitive Verbs- Intransitive Verbs do not need an object to complete their meaning. Such words have completen sense even without an object. Such verbs are called Intransitive Verbs.

Example - The bell is ringing.

Linking Verbs- They do not take an object to make their sense complete. In such cases compliment is added at the end of a sentence to make its sense complete. The words that joins a verb with its complement are called Linking Verbs.

Example - The bill sounds beneficials.

Noun :-

Noun is the name of person, place, animal or thing.

Example:- Simran, Mumbai, Cat, Hat, etc.

There are 8 types of Noun

Common Noun:-A Commom noun is a name given in common to every person or thing of the same class or kind; for example ;- Man, woman, boy, girl, etc.

Proper Noun:- A Proper noun is the special name of a particular person or place; for example: Abdul, Sita, London, Kolkata, etc.

Abstract Noun:-An Abstract noun is the name of something that we can only think of; for example:- Sweetness, weakness, childhood, sleep, etc.

Collective Noun :- A Collection noun is the name of a number of people or things considered as one; for example: Herd, flock, crowd, team, etc.

Material Noun- A Material noun is the thing extracted from the Earth or used to make other things; for example: Milk, wood, stone, etc.

Countable Noun:- Countable nouns are the names of things which we can count; for example:- book, pen, computers, apples, etc.

Uncoutable Noun:-Uncoutable noun are the name of things which we cannot count; for example :- rice, salt, sugar, milk, etc.

Compound Noun:- Compound noun is a

combination of multi-words; for example :- hardwork, raindrop, etc.
