The volume of given mass of CO₂ is 2.24L. Here general gas equation is used with the conditions of NTP that is atm pressure and 273k temperature. Solution of the question is attached below. Step wise explanation is given. If you have any confusion, drop a comment.
At NTP,
T = 273 k
P = 1 atm
R = 0.0821,
m = 4.4 g
M = 44g
According to general gas equation
PV = nRT
V = m/M x RT/P
= 4.4 x 0.0821 x 273 /44 x 1 = 2.24 L
I hope this is helpful for you.

NTP , normal temperature and pressure is used as a standard condition for testing and documentation of fan capacities. at 20°C or 293K , 1atm pressure, gaseous reaction is known as condition of reaction in normal temperature and pressure.
but in general , we say, gas volume is same NTP and STP. and volume of 1 mole of gas is occupied 22.4L space .
here , weight of carbon dioxide = 4.4g
molar weight of carbon dioxide = 44g
so, number of mole = 4.4/44 = 0.1
now, volume of carbon dioxide at NTP/STP = number of mole × 22.4 L
= 0.1 × 22.4 = 2.24L
hence, option (b) is correct.
