apply law of equivalence,
so, equivalence of acid = equivalence of base.
equivalence of acid = normality of acid × volume of acid = 0.1 × V
equivalence of base = normality of base × volume of base .
normality = molar concentration/n - factors
= 0.04/1 = 0.04 N
so, 0.1 × V = 0.04 × 1L
V = 400ml
