the water cycle is a simple process by which the water in the various water bodies evaporate as vapours into the atmosphere and fall down again as rain fall back to earth.
There are four main stages in the water cycle. They are evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
after coming down to earth as rainfall, it again fills the water bodies and restarts the  cycle again
