These band classification is based on the wavelength range :

$2) \: UV_{B} = 280 - 315 \: nm$

$3) \: UV_{C} = 100 - 280 \: nm$

So, the net range of wavelength of UV Rays is 100 - 400 nano-meters.

Some of the uses of these rays :
