what is the weak part of our body???
Answers
The human body has quite a few weaknesses:
Arteries: Unfortunately our arteries, particularly those supplying the heart and brain, get blocked pretty easily. Eventually this atherosclerotic process can lead to a clot forming and completely blocking an artery, causing a heart attack or stroke. It’s one of our biggest weaknesses, particularly in the western world due to poor diet. By the time someone reaches their 30s and 40s there is usually already relatively significant build up of plaques on the walls of their coronary arteries
Cells: Another major weakness of our bodies is that of of mutations arising in our DNA which eventually cause cancer. These mutations make cells grow uncontrollably to form tumours. Of course lifestyle factors can aggravate this (like smoking in lung cancer) but unfortunately sometimes it just happens to healthy people
Immune: Our immune systems ironically cause a lot more problems than you’d expect. When someone dies of an infection like septicaemia, it isn’t actually the bacteria that kill us - it’s the response of our immune systems going into overdrive and destroying the body’s own tissue. Other immune problems are auto-immune conditions like lupus or inflammatory bowel disease where the immune system attacks the body due to genetic, environmental or idiopathic (unknown cause) origin
Fat: Due to evolution, are bodies have become very good at storing fat and surviving on low-calorie diets. Now that food is plentiful in the western world, the body copes terribly with extra fat. It contributes to blocked arteries, cancer and diabetes. Obesity is a huge contributor of illness and death in modern times
Pleasure: Our evolution has made us feel pleasure when we engage in an activity to keep us alive - for example eating food or having sex. Unfortunately this reward system can be hacked into by drugs, sex, porn and gambling to cause addiction. Addiction is a huge killer, especially in the U.S right now due to the opioid epidemic
