what is the weight of sucrose present in 1kg solution of 1m concentration?
please answer my que
the answer is 254.8gram
but i don't know how to solve it..​

Answer:

1m concentration means:

1 mole sucrose is present in =1000 g of solution

(wt of sucrose is=342.3 gram/mole)

i.e,342.3 g sucrose is present in = 1000g of solvent

342.3 g sucrose is present in = 1342.3g solution

(since,  solution = solute + solvent)

so,1342.3g solution is present in =342.3g sucrose

so, 1000g solution is present in =((342.3)*1000)/1342.3

                                                     =254.8 g
