what is the width of a rectangular prism that has a volume of 138.24 cubic inches, a height of 9.6 inches, and a length of 3.2 inches?

If the volume V = 144 cubic inches, and V = length*width*height, 

then 144 cubic inches = length*width*8 inches

and length*width = 144/8 square inches = 18 square inches.
