Work is done by gravitywhen a satellite movesaround the earth, as thesatellite orbit is rarely circular, so the force and the velocity vector are not perpendicular to each other. ... A satellite is under the influence ofgravitational pull of earth.

Heya avreen

Frstly relax and all the very best✌

As we know work done=force × displacement

When satellite is moving...gravity is acting towards centre of earth...so if satellite is revolving around earth...earth centre=orbit centre...therefore net work done=0 and because the force and the displacement are perpendicular.....

Hope it helps u
