Gravity acts towards the center of the earth. So if the satellite moves in a circular orbit with center of earth as the orbit center the work done at any point is zero, since the force and the displacement are perpendicular

The work done by the force of the gravity on the satellite is zero. This is because, the force of gravity acts at right angle to the direction of motion of the satellite, and therefore, no displacement is caused in the direction of applied force, The force of gravity only varies the direction of motion of the satellite.
