Heya user,

Consider the load of mass ---> ' m '
The acceleration due to gravity --> ' g '
Height [ given ] = ' h '

Formula for work = F s cos
θ, where θ  is the angle between Force applied and displacement --> ' s'

Now, if we assume that the person is pulling the load upwards-->
cos
θ = cos 0 = 1
.'. The value would be = mgh

But in case, the person is carrying the thing over head, cos
θ=cos90= 0;

which means ---> he does no work '.' F s cos
θ turns out zero

That's one reason --> Scientifically, Coolie does no work --> HEHE
