What is the work done in increasing the velocity of a car from 30km/h to 60km/h, if the mass of the car is 1500 kg?

Work done = change in kinetic energy

= 1/2 m(v.v-u.u)

= (1/2)×1500×(60×60-30×30)

=(1/2)×1500×(3600-900)

=750×2700
=2025000J
=2025 KJ
