Given ,

Charge (q) = 4 C

Potential difference (v) = 12 V

As we know that ,

The work to carry a charge from one point to another point is called potential difference

 \boxed{ \tt{Potential \:  difference \:  (v) =  \frac{w}{q}  }}

Thus ,

12 = w/4

w = 12 × 4

w = 48 Joule

Hence , the work done is 48 Joule
