work done =1/2×72×1000-1/2×36×1000

=36000-18000

=18000

Work done (W)= Kinetic Energy (KE)

=1/2×m×(v^2-u^2)

Mass of car=m=1000kg

Initial velocity=u=

32 km/h

= 32×5/18

=10m/s

Similarly, Final velocity=v= 72km/h

=20m/s

KE= 1/2×m×(v^2 - u^2)

=1/2×1000×(20×20 - 10×10)

=1/2×1000×(400-100)

=1/2×1000×300 =150000J

Hope it is clear to you!!!
