work done = force*displacement
to change velocity you should change the acceleration of the car
force=mass*acceleration
so, force is directly proportional to acceleration if acceleration increases force increase and so work done
work done =mass*velocity*displacement
as u=0 and t=1sec
work done/mass*displacement= velocity
