What is the work to be done to increase the velocity of an object of mass 1200kg
from 30 m/s to 60 m/s.​

Here in this case.....

Work done = change in kinetic energy

W = 1/2m ( v^2 - u^2)

Where v is final velocity

And u is initial velocity......

Therefore....

W = 1/2*1200 (3600- 900)

W = 162 *10^4

W = 1.62 MJ
