W = F x s

W = m a x (v² - u² )/ 2a

W = m(v² - u² ) /2

W = 1500 ( 16.6  x 16.6 - 8.3 x 8.3 ) / 2

W = 1500 ( 275.56 - 68.89 ) / 2

W = 1500 x 188.67 / 2

W = 283005 / 2

W = 141502.5 Joules

W = 141.5 KJ

m=1500kg

u= 60km/h =60* 5/18 = 50/3m/s

v =0m/s

w = change in its KE.

initial KE =1/2 mu2

final KE=1/2mv²

w = 1/2mv2 - 1/2 mu2

=1/2m(v2-u2)

= 1/2 * 15000{0- (50/3)2}

= -208333.33J
