✌️✌️ HEYA MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER ✌️✌️
Current in the coil ABCD enters from the source of battery through conducting brush X and flows back to the battery through brush Y.
The current in the arm AB of the coil flows from A to B.
In arm C it flows from C to D, opposite to the direction of current through arm AB.
The force acting on arm AB pushes it downwards while the force acting on arm C pushes it upward.
The coil and the axle O, mounted free to turn about an axis rotates anti clockwise.
HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!!

An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Most electric motors operate through the interaction between the motor's magnetic field and electric current in a wire winding to generate force in the form of torque applied on the motor's shaft.
