The year of depression was in Germany after the first world war. The years 1929 - 1932 are known as the years of depression. Germany was hit by economic crisis.
The main effects on Germany were :
Workers lost their jobs, most of their wages were reduced.
The number of unemployed people in Germany grew to 6 million.
Most of the men started roaming on roads with cards in their necks which say "Willing to do any work."
As the jobs were lost and were getting disappeared, the youth took up criminal activities.
Every member was affected in Germany. Theft became common.
Everyone in Germany was filled with the fear of proletarianisation.
