In William Hazlitt’s essay, ‘On the conduct of life’, Hazlitt advises the young boy to change his attitude towards his new school. The boy vehemently despised his new school. He despised their style of dressing. He complained that they were always laughing at him and took no care of him. He thus addressed each of them in derogatory terms. He was totally dissatisfied with his new school.
