what is the Zero of a polynomial P of x is equal to 3 X square + 5 x minus 8

your answer is _______
p(x)= 3x2 + 5x - 8
= 3x2 -3x +8x - 8
= 3x(x-1) +8(x-1)
= (3x+8) (x-1)
=3x= -8 ,x=1.....
= x= -8/3

hence, x=8/3,or x=1....
