Given,

To find its zeroes it needs to be equated with zero(0),

So,

 \rm =  > 8x + 14 = 0 \\  \rm =  > 8x = 0 - 14 \\   \rm=  > 8x =  - 14 \\  \\   \rm=  >  \frac{8x}{8}  =  \frac{ - 14}{8}  \\  \\  \rm =  > x =  \frac{ - 14}{8}  \\  \\   \rm=  > x =  \frac{ - 7}{4}  \:  \:

Thus,

  • Zeroes of 8x + 14 is -7/4
