The Particle in the colloidal solution follow the Zig - Zag motion because of the phenomenon called " Brownian Motion ".

The Brownian Motion is due to the cannonade of the of Colloidal particles by molecules of the dispersion medium.

In Chemistry, a colloid is mixture in which one substance of microscopically dispersed insoluble particles are suspended throughout the another substances. Some of the colloid are translucent. every Colloid Consists of two parts:- Colloidal Particles and Dispersing Medium.

Some examples of Colloid are :- Mayonnaise, Jelly mud water, and plaster etc.
