Map is a flat paper containing the locations of a place and describing the place with a sigh or symbol. It can be rolled or folded and can easily fit anywhere but its not the same with a globe. It is a hard sphere which can be placed only at one place and is difficult to manage it if its taken out anywhere. Since it doesn't fit anywhere and the places marked on it with sings doesn't give the correct idea. That is why map is reffered more than globe....
