The Hetrosphere begins at around 80km altitude and extend outward some 10'000km. above 480km the atmosphere is rarified (nearly vacum) and is called Exosphere, which means outer sphere.

Exosphere contains light gasses like Hydrogen and Helium weakly bound by gravity. In addition to it's distinctive layered gets composition, the atmosphere has a thermal region called Thermosphere and within it the function layer is called inosphere.
