THIGMOTROPISM - THE DIRECTIONAL GROWTH MOVEMENT OF A PLANT PART IN RESPONSE TO THE TOUCH OF AN OBJECT IS CALLED THIGMOTROPISM. EG - THE TENDRILS OF THE PLANT ALWAYS GROW TOWARDS ANY SUPPORT WHICH THEY HAPPEN TO TOUCH. THEY SHOW POSITIVE THIGMOTROPISM.
