Hey mate!! Here is ur answer

1. Thigmotropism is a type of movement toward the touch or away from the touch.

2. Towards the touch is known as Positive thigmotropism and away from touch is known as negativw thigmotropism.

3. Plants like creepers follow thigmotropism to find support and to cling around it such as some sticks by their tentacles ( leaf and stem tentacles )

4. If weaker plants would not exhibit thigmotropism then the chances of their survival will minimise because they would be unable to stand with the support of something.

Hope this helps if so mark as brainliest.

Thigmotropism is a directional growth movement which occurs as a mechanosensory response to a touch stimulus.

A positive thigmotropism is a response towards the touch stimulus whereas a negative thigmotropism is a response away from the touch stimulus.

hope my answer helps you.
