Given:

(i) 3 pairs of shoes = 30

(ii) 2 robots + pair of shoes = 20

(iii) 2 pairs of bottles + machine with 1 pair of bottle = 17

To find:

(i) One shoe + One machine with 1 pair of shoes with 3 bottles * 1 bottle = ?

Solution:

3 pairs of shoes equal to 30

So, 1 pair of shoe equal to 30/3 = 10

1 shoe will be equal to 10/2 = 5

2 machine + 1 pair of shoes = 20

⇒ 2 machine + 10 = 20

⇒ 2 machine = 10

⇒ 1 machine = 10/2 = 5

2 pairs of bottles + 1 machine with two bottles = 17

⇒ 2 pairs of bottles + 5 + 1 pair of bottle = 17

⇒ 3 pairs of bottles = 12

⇒ 1 pair of bottle = 12/3 = 4

⇒ 1 bottle = 4/2 = 2

1 shoe + 1 machine with 3 bottles and 2 shoes * 1 bottle

= 5 + [(5 + 3*2 + 2*5) * 2]

= 5 + (21*2)

= 5 + 42

= 47

So, 47 is the required answer.
