1. Apical meristem :-
position - It is present at the root apex and the shoot apex.
Function - it helps in root elongation.
2. Intercalary meristem :-
Position - It is present between the masses of mature tissues present at the bases of the leaves of grasses.
Function - It helps in the regeneration of grasses
3. Lateral meristem :-
Position - It is present in the mature tissues of roots and shoots.

Hi friend ❔✨✨✨
The three groups of meristematic tissues are:--
1)))APICAL MERISTEMS ;;-
These are situated at the growing tip of stems and roots at shoot apex and root apex .Apical are found at apices of the leaves.
Function--- Increase in the height of the plant ,which is called primary growth.
2))LATERAL MERISTEMS---
These are found beneath the bark and in vascular bundles of dicot roots and stems .They occurs in thin layers.
Function--- It cause the organ to increase in diameter and girth. This Is called secondary growth.
3)) INTERCALARY MERISTEMS--- They are located at the base of leaves or internode ..eg.stems of grasses and other monocots.
Function---It is produce an increase in the length of an organ such as leaves and internode.......
