1) Number of photons is calculated by dividing total energy of 1 photons, so first calculate the energy of 1 photon by applying, E=hc/lembda

2) Then calculate the number of photons by using the formula, N=total energy/energy of one photon,

Wavelength, lembda = 4000 pm = 4000*10/100000000000000

energy of one photon,

E=hc/lembda= 6.626*10 to the power -34 Js*3.0*108 meter per second / 4000*10 to the power -12 m

= 4.9695*10 to the power -17 J

Number of photons,

N= 1J/4.9695*10 to the power -17J

= 2.0122*10 to the power 16 photons.
