  • Thunderstorm :- A storm with thunder and lightning is called thunderstorm. A thunderstorm is accompanied by heavy rain or hail.

MORE INFORMATION :-

  • Thunderstorm is produced by the dark clouds which form at fairly low altitude in the atmosphere. Thunderstorm is called "garajwala toofan" in hindi. Thunderstorms develop in hot and humid topical areas ( like India) very frequently. This is because the heat of tropical areas warms up the air and makes it rise up, whereas the humidity provides the water vapor for the formation of clouds.

A thunderstorm is a localized storm accompanied by lightning and thunder. It may also have gusty winds and often brings heavy rain. Some thunderstorms can also bring tornadoes and/or hail. Thunderstorms are produced by cumulonimbus clouds and form when air rises rapidly.
