✨TIDE:

◼Tides are the rise/fall of water level in the sea caused by the effects of the gravitational force by the moon and the sun, and also the rotation of the earth.

✨TYPE OF TIDES:

◼Bore tide

◼Neap tide

◼Spring tide

◼Rip tide

◼Low tide

◼High tide

A strong gravitational pull is exerted by the Sun and the moon on the Earth. This results in regular rise and fall of water in the oceans. The phenomenon of the alternate rise and fall in the level of sea water is called a tide. The rise in water level is called high tide and the fall in water level is called low tide. During the full moon and new moon days, the Sun, the moon and the Earth are in the same line and the tides are highest. These tides are called spring tides. But when the moon is in its first and last quarter, the ocean water is drawn in diagonally opposite directions by the gravitational pull of the Sun and Earth resulting in low tides. These tides are termed as neap tides,
