what is to be subtracted from a²+ab+b² so that the difference is equal to (a-b)²? The answer is 3ab but I need the steps. Please help.​

Answer:

Given:- a²+ab+b²

if we substract 3ab in a²+ab+b²

=> a²+ab+b²-3ab

=> a²-2ab+b²

we can se a²-2ab+b²

which is equal to (a-b)²
