what is tooth decay ? How does it take place ? What is the role of tooth paste in preventing tooth decay ?

tooth decay occurs when the pH of out tooth goes below 5.5.Bacteria present in our teeth produce acids by degradation of remaining food particles.It increases the pH of teeth and causes tooth decay.However using tooth pastes which are basic in nature can give us relief.

Tooth decay is caused when pH of teeth falls below 5.5 that is acidic

If we do not clean r teeth regularly then the bacteria in r teeth breaks down the food and turns it into acid that is lactic acid

Tooth paste r used to neutral ise the effect of acid in r teeth and turn it into salt....
