torrid zone -1)torrid means hot it is on the earth. 2)it lies between tropic of cancer and tropic of capricon and recieves maximum heat from sun. frigid zone-1)it lies between artic circle and the north pole. 2)it lies between antartic circle and the south pole in the in the south. 3)it expieriences slanting rays from the sun.

Torrid zone is in both northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere but temperate zone is in only one of the either of the zones.

Torrid zone receives maximum heat and rainfall also and have tropical rainforests. temperature zones have large grasslands and receive lesser heat
