What is total volume of diluted alcohol obtained when 4 m3 of 96 % alcohol and 4 % water solution is diluted a solution of 55 % of alcohol. In the 96 % alcohol and 4 % water solution, partial molar volumes of alcohol and water are 0.815 X 10-3 m3 Kg−1 and 1.271 X 10-3 m3 Kg−1, respectively. In the 50 % alcohol and water solution, partial molar volumes of alcohol and water are 0.951 X 10-3 m3 Kg−1 and 1.241 X 10-3 m3 Kg−1, respectively. Density of water= 0.996*103 Kg/m3.
