This plant is native to South America, North America and Central America. It can also be found in Asia in countries such as Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Japan, Sri Lanka, Guam and well across the southern part of the United States.

Touch me not plant is plant when we touch the leaves shrink or ( whose leaves limp and groves when exposed ) Scientifically it is termed as mimosa puedica .
it is generally found in North America in Asian continent too like India ,srilanka ,china etc
