Transitive and intransitive forms are forms of verbs.

If a verb has an object associated with the action directly, then it is a transitive verb.  We do not use a proposition between verb and the object in this case.

If a verb does not have an object associated with the action directly, then it is an intransitive verb.  we need to use a proposition between verb and the object.

Transitive and intransitive are the types of verbs.
When  a verb has an object then it is called as transitive verb.Ex: Rawan bought a magazine. i don`t like a rap music.
When a verb does not have an object then it is called as an intransitive verb.Ex:Lynn fainted.
             Soon,everyone was shouting.

kvnmurty: like a rap music - is not correct.... like rap music is right. there is no "a".
