Chromosomal translocation

Translocation is a type of chromosomal abnormality in which a chromosome breaks and a portion of it reattaches to a different chromosome. Chromosomal translocations can be detected by analyzing karyotypes of the affected cells.

Here's ur Answer Mate:-

  • Translocation is a biological mechanism involving the transfer of water and other soluble nutrients from one part of the plant to another through the xylem and phloem, which occurs in all plants.
  • Transport of the soluble photosynthesis product or food from the leaves to other plant parts is referred to as translocation.
  • Food molecules reach the part of the phloem termed the sieve tubes, for translocation, where they’re being moved up or down to all areas of the plant, such as the roots.
  • Translocation is accomplished by using ATP energy that offers the osmotic pressure necessary for food to travel upward and downward.

Hope it helps uh!
