Answer:

HERE'S ABOUT TRANSPIRATION

Explanation:

Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation from aerial parts, such as leaves, stems and flowers. Water is necessary for plants but only a small amount of water taken up by the roots is used for growth and metabolism. The remaining 97–99.5% is lost by transpiration and guttation.

Answer:

A plant absorbs more quantity of water than required for its various use . The excess water is given out in the form of water vapour . The loss of water from the stomata of the leaves in the form of water vapour is called ' Transpiration '

When water is transpirated from the plant, a suction force is created which pulls the water up from the xylem to the leaves ,thus , transpiration helps in the transport of water from the root to the leaves . It also helps in the Colling effect in plant due to tje water evaporated from it.
